Hi there! My name is pronounced “See – ham” and I am an Associate Marriage Family Therapist and the Lead Therapist at New Life Recovery. I received my master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University and have been working as a therapist for three years across a variety of settings. I am nearing licensure and continue to grow my expertise in helping clients navigate their healing journeys. I love connecting with clients on a human-to-human level, leading with empathy, curiosity, and compassion. I draw from a range of modalities, including EMDR, psychodynamic, and narrative therapy, while incorporating mindfulness, CBT, and DBT strategies to support clients both in and outside of sessions. Currently, I facilitate therapeutic groups, fostering a space for growth, reflection, and connection for each of the people I work with. I am passionate about helping clients process trauma, reconnect with their inner child, and reach their full potential. What I love most about my work is witnessing the transformations that occur, even if it’s as simple as planting a seed for future growth. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, dancing, and singing, although I’ll happily admit that I’m not the best at the last two, but I always lead with love and joy.
My philosophy is reflected in my favorite quote: “What if it doesn’t happen, but ah, what if it does,” inspiring both myself and my clients to embrace possibility and growth in all that we do.
